Introduction

Alltius Inc, referred to as Alltius, is the developer and owner of the 'Alltius Platform', a SaaS platform that enables businesses to create intelligent AI assistants for their employees and end users. These assistants can be accessed through Alltius' various channels (referred to as KNO) such as web application, web widgets, APIs, Slack, Teams, or custom plugins.

In this document, Alltius refers to Alltius Inc, a Delaware registered company, and all its subsidiaries worldwide. This Privacy Policy applies to Alltius' Web Platform and all its derivative products, including all assistants accessed through widgets, APIs, Slack, Teams, or custom plugins. Unless specified otherwise, all references to Alltius’ Products pertain to Alltius’s Web Platform and the KNO assistants created through the platform and accessed through any of the channels listed earlier. This agreement also covers the collection and usage of data from these products.

By using Alltius’ Products, you agree to these terms of Privacy Policy without any modifications. It is important to carefully read and retain a copy of these terms for future reference.

Collection of your personal information

Alltius does not collect personal information unless provided voluntarily by you. However, certain products or services may require you to provide personal information, such as when registering for an account or sending us an email. We will use this information to communicate with you regarding the services and/or products you have requested. In the future, we may also collect additional personal or non-personal information with your consent.

Use of your personal information

Data uploaded to Alltius’ Platform is not used to coach any language models. Alltius does not collect or use any personal information to provide its core service, that is, to generate and publish responses to queries.

An individual's identity is needed only to register the users’ account and to retain context in the conversation.

Data retention, storage, archiving and removal

We prioritise the security of your data. We do not have access to the credentials used to install Alltius on Slack. The conversations you have with Alltius are stored on our cloud servers to enhance the quality of your interactions with our app and maintain context. This data is retained as long as you maintain your account with us. We utilise ISO and SOC2 certified cloud services for data storage. We only collect personally identifiable information if you provide it voluntarily, such as during signup or via email. We may retain this information for effective communication purposes. If you wish to archive or delete your account data or any associated conversation data, please contact support@alltius.ai.

Tracking user behaviour

Alltius Products may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within any of its core or derivative products, in order to determine what features or services are the most popular among Alltius’ users. This data may be used to deliver customised content within Alltius’ Products to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Automatically collected information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Alltius. This information can include: your IP address, computer and browser information. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Alltius Platform and website.

Use of cookies

The Alltius website may use cookies to enhance your online experience. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer by a web server. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses. They are unique to you and can only be read by the web server that issued the cookie. Cookies are primarily used to save you time by remembering your preferences and personal information. For example, if you customise Alltius pages or register with our site or services, a cookie helps us remember your specific information for future visits. This allows you to easily access the custom features you have set up. You have the option to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. However, if you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully utilise the interactive features of Alltius services or websites.

‍Links

Alltius' Products may include references to sources provided by workspace owners in response to user queries. These references may appear as links to other websites, referred to as ‘Linked Sites’. Alltius does not have control over the content of any Linked Site, including any links contained within it or any changes or updates made to it. Alltius assistants present these links only for your convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement or claim of ownership by Alltius or any association with the operators of the linked site.

Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Children under the age of 13

Alltius does not intentionally gather personal information from individuals under the age of thirteen, whether through online or offline means. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use KNO with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Connecting your accounts from third-party-services

You have the option to connect your Alltius workspace and user account to third party accounts. Some services provided through Alltius are delivered by third party sites and organisations. By using any product, service, or functionality from the Alltius web application domain, you acknowledge and agree that Alltius may share your information and data with third parties who have a contractual relationship with Alltius to provide the requested product, service, or functionality on behalf of Alltius users and customers.

Third party integrations or plugins

By utilising the plugins available in Alltius, you have the option to connect your workspace and account to third party accounts for the purpose of importing data, such as, but not limited to, documents and tickets, and web content, as well as performing actions, such as, for example, raising a ticket in your private CRM account through Alltius products. By connecting your Alltius workspace and account to a third party account, you acknowledge and agree that information about you may be shared with others, in accordance with your privacy settings on those third party sites. If you do not wish for your information to be shared in this manner, please refrain from using this feature. If you have already connected your account, you can disconnect these integrations at any time through the Alltius Web Platform in your workspace.

Sharing information with third parties

Alltius does not sell, rent or lease customer data  to third parties.

‍Third party integration disclosures

Usage of large language models

Alltius utilises services of public or privately hosted large language models (LLMs) to generate coherent responses to queries on the platform. We do not store or send data to any LLM for the purposes of training the models. We use the services of popular providers such as, but not limited to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and Meta, served out of regions in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Google Accounts

Alltius' Web Platform enables users to connect their Alltius workspace with Google applications, such as Google Drive, to access and analyse documents. This connection is established through secure OAuth protocol and can be revoked at any time within the platform. The platform may share specific text, segments, or other content from users' documents with third-party large language models (LLMs) or Alltius' own self-hosted model to generate coherent responses to queries on the platform. However, no information about the Google account owner is sought or shared with any third-party LLM models or AI applications. Alltius will handle and transfer information received from Google APIs to other applications in compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The integration can be revoked or disconnected at any time through the Alltius Web Platform in the users’ workspace.

Slack Accounts

The Alltius Web Platform enables users to connect their Slack workspaces and interact with the assistants they create on the Alltius Platform. To facilitate this, we collect certain information from the user's Slack account and workspace, including the list of Slack channels, interactions with Alltius assistants within Slack, and reactions to the responses within Slack. Alltius’ assistants can be invoked only by explicitly mentioning the bot from within a Slack workspace.

We do not access any conversations or reactions to Slack posts that are not directly made with an Alltius assistant. Conversational interaction data with Alltius assistants is stored for users' own audit and records up to a maximum of 90 days unless requested otherwise. We collect the user's name and connected email account from their Slack user profile only for the purpose of establishing authenticated integration with Slack.

Alltius utilises services of public or privately hosted large language models (LLMs) to generate coherent responses to queries on the platform, but we do not share any information received from Slack, such as conversations or workspace details, with these models for training purposes. The responses generated by Alltius assistants are accurate to the extent of the context given to them in the workspace. The integration can be revoked or disconnected at any time through the Alltius Web Platform in the users’ workspace. All information received from Slack is handled and stored in compliance with Slack's app guidelines and requirements

Email communications

Alltius may occasionally contact you via email to share announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, or other general communication. To enhance our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Alltius or click on a link within it. If you wish to discontinue receiving marketing or promotional emails from Alltius, you can opt out by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link provided in the email.

External data storage sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted. These cloud servers are ISO certified and our information security systems are compliant with SOC2 Type II protocol.

Changes to this statement

Alltius may modify this Privacy Policy periodically. We will inform you of any significant changes in how we handle personal information by sending a notice to the email address provided in your account or by updating the privacy information. By continuing to use the website and/or Services after such modifications, you acknowledge and agree to the updated Privacy Policy and its terms.
